Synaplan has native apps for iPhone and Android: chat, documents, assistants and voice input in your pocket. Same account, same data — dictate a question on the way and pick up any conversation where you left it.

Key points:

  • Works with any Synaplan server. By default the apps talk to web.synaplan.com, but they can be pointed at your own self-hosted instance — the app is a client, your data stays on the server you choose.
  • Same account, same knowledge. The apps use the same accounts, chats, documents, assistants and model policies as the web app.
  • Free download. The software is the same open-source platform; usage is governed by the server you connect to (your own instance, or a plan on the hosted cloud). Optional subscriptions on the hosted cloud are billed through the App Store or Google Play.
  • Voice and camera. Dictate a question, or photograph a document and ask about it.

For self-hosters

The web app shows a one-time "Synaplan is now on iPhone and Android" announcement with Get the app buttons — but only when the instance has store links configured. They live in BCONFIG group MOBILE (IOS_APP_URL, ANDROID_APP_URL, owner 0) and default to empty, so a self-hosted instance never advertises the public apps unless you set them. The same group holds MIN_APP_VERSION, which forces an app update below that version.
